Poodles can Herd!!!

Poodles are the ultimate all round dog. Here is our Donovan who is turning 9 yrs. on November 6 out learning to herd sheep and having just a great time at it.
Who says you can't teach an older dog new tricks :-) They always love to learn new things that are fun to do.

News Flash ** Raffi Completes his Utility Title **

Ch. Reigate's You Are My Sunshine UD, RX, DD, AGN, AGN.J, ADC, Am. CDX

We just received news that Raffi and Gillian completed his last leg of his Utility title. I think I am correct that they accomplished this task in 4 trials.
Great news for this wonderful team!! Wow!!

Draft Dog Title

This is a venue that usually attracts the Bernese Mountain Dogs and Neufs. Our Raffi and Gillian held their own in an entry of 16 dogs and they were the only poodle entered. There were three passes, the standard poodle, the Viszla and a Berner. Hooray for poodles!!! Raffi's great grandmother Portia is our only other Draft Dog title holder earning her DD and DDX. many years ago. This was fun to watch, very difficult work and such a wonderful group of people holding the event.

New CKC Champion

CH. Reigate Querido finished his championship title at the Chilliwack shows in September 2010. Reido was handled expertly by Terry Bernier and looked wonderful in his continental trim at 14 months. Judi And Reido now plan to move on to the fun stuff like performance venues.
Congratulatons to all of you for a great job.

Agility- Donovan and Margot go Bronze!!

At the Roadster trials this past weekend Donovan and Margot earned their Agility Association of Canada Bronze Award of Merit and also his Bronze Expert Jumpers title.
This team has hit their stride and are working beautifully together and we are so proud of their accomplishments.
This must put our Dono's titles up around 25 in number.
Tyson and Donovan are Gatsby sons and along with Raffi, Dexter, Monaco and Tanu are doing their fathers proud in their accomplishments.

Tyson has gone MADC or so the saying goes. Barb and Tyson earned his Masters Agility Dog Of Canada title last weekend at the Roadsters trials. We are so proud of this team and the fun of watching the speed demon finally hit all the contacts to get this title!! It is not far now to the ATCH.
